HCG Diet Day 13

I’ve now been on the diet for 13 days (11 days on Phase 2) and I have lost…9 pounds!  I can definitely see changes in my body, especially my midsection which tends to be my problem area.  Originally, I had set my goal weight as 105 pounds.  To hit that, I would need to lose 7 more pounds.  I’m going to see how the diet goes because I possibly think now maybe 108 or 107 would be good goal weights.

I have to admit, I am getting a little tired of the VLCD.  I’m not even craving bad food, but stuff like cheese, cottage cheese, etc.  However, I’ve been really good and am seeing results.  I guess I did have a little cheat this morning.  I made my hubby a blueberry bagel and had to have a teeny bite.  ;-)  It really didn’t even taste that good.  I lost .9 pounds last night, which is more than usual.  I think this is because I really pushed myself to drink more water and tea yesterday.  I have to keep that up.  I also had ground beef last night (93% lean) and that was a nice treat.

HCG Diet Day 7

Yesterday was Day 7 of my diet (day 5 of Phase 2).  I also went out and bought a digital scale that measures weight in tenths.  I’m now kind of unsure of how accurate my previous scale was because when I tested them out yesterday, my old scale was reading a tad heavier!  Oh well.  I guess it’s all relative.  Anyways, as of this morning, I have lost 5.6 pounds (based on my weight on the old scale.)  HCG is definitely working!

As far as hunger goes, I seem to be doing okay.  I may experiment with my dosage in the next few days, just to see if it makes a difference.  I had some Stevia kool-aid last night and think that made me hungry, so no more of that.  I’m also trying to determine if the Melba toast makes me hungry.  Today will be somewhat of a challenge because our neighborhood is having a block party and of course, there will be lots of yummy food.  I’ll have to be content with my chicken breast and greens.

You do realize that even when you're on Phase 3 of the HCG diet, you still need to keep some form of diet and that eating a 700 calorie burger is just going to make 3 pounds (at the very least) pop up on the scale the next day? Your body needs about 3 weeks for your weight to stabilize; That's the entire purpose of phase 3 to begin with.

Phase 3 allows indulging in fats as long as you avoid starches and sugars.  I know plenty of people who eat bunless burgers during phase 3 and have no problem stabilizing.  Steak is also encouraged in the case you go 2 pounds over your LDW.
