Here is the my latest photo. I am so proud of this image because I have spent HOURS pouring over websites and books, learning how to edit and finally feel like I am getting somewhere. This was from my first “practice” shoot with a non-friend/family member. I was pretty happy with how the photos turned out. I haven’t actually shot anything in quite awhile because I have been so busy learning about editing. However, I have a couple of shoots scheduled, and am ready to get out there again.
I’m pretty happy about where I am going on this photography journey. I still have so much to learn, but love the progress I am making.
Okay, I am SERIOUSLY obsessed with The Coffeeshop Blog right now. Rita, who runs the blog is amazing and so generous for posting all of these PSE tutorials and free actions. I’m trying to hold off on just downloading all the actions because it’s important to me that I really learn how to use PSE 9 well, without “cheating” by just using the actions. But it is nice to see how many awesome things you can do with Photoshop Elements. I’m such a photography geek. Browsing PSE actions while I sip my wine on a Saturday evening. LOL.
